Programming – Game Studio: Byte Edition
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Students learn block coding through Scratch. Scratch is a friendly, didactic, and very easy-to-understand program for students between ages 7-10. Students learn about the basics of programming and craft concepts of technology, science, and mathematics. Students also learn how computers think. The course is geared towards creating a personalized project and at the end of the course, students will present their projects to our entire team and parent invitees.
CERTIFICATION:
Programming: Level I.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
- Learn the basics of programming
- Develop logical thinking
- Study concepts of mathematics, science, and technology and, their application to programming
- Develop teamwork.
