What we are about
ABOUT US
1010 Coding is an online teaching and mentoring platform that has developed courses for students between the ages of 7-18 to learn how to code and educate them on career options that technology offers in the modern era. In today’s digital age, only a few schools in Africa coding and other digital technology courses in early childhood resulting in a significant gap in the requirements of the new world and our children’s skills. 1010 Coding introduces and prepares kids for this new era.
However, the majority of these students who would like to be part of our offering are finding it difficult to enroll in our program because of the lack of educational funding, stable internet connections and personal computers for classes, and a mentor to counsel and guide them with career prospects. To reduce the barrier of entry for the students, we are presenting a way to collaborate with you to unearth and refine the potential of these students who span different economic groups around the continent by empowering these students in areas of access to education and internet funding.
Beneficiaries will be fully funded to attend our online classes in a distinguished learning environment. They will also be afforded the opportunity to take their research and learning outside of that environment with laptops and a stable internet that will be providing for well round, independent, free-thinking, and widely exposed students who can then translate their knowledge to transform the world around them and extend it for worldwide impact.
Your support is greatly appreciated. Your donation will help these students achieve their dreams of becoming technologically learned.
